The reading passage explores this issue that how the Agnostids may have lived. The professor’s lecture deals with the same issue. However, she/ he thinks contradicts what the reading states.
And in the lecture, he/she uses three specific points to support his/ her idea. First, even though the reading passage suggests that the Agnostids maybe a predator for its strong swimming ability, the professor contradicts this opinion . This is because the predators should have a considerably visual but Agnostids just have tiny poor eyes. Agnostids do not have a very special organize to feel the surrounding so they can not be the predator. Moreover, contrary to statement in the reading passage that Agnostids are the dweller of the see floor, the professor contends that there are not any evident tend the Agnostids are dwelled on the seafloor . Then he/she supports this points with the fact that the seafloor animal cannot move fast. However, the Agnostids are able to moving fast and long distance so the seefloor dwellers hypothesis can hardly stand. Finally, the professor asserts that the Agnotids are not parasites. The professor proves her claim that there is not a large population about parasites is very large a. The age when Agnotids was very competitive and there were so many killings. If the Agnotids are parasites, they cannot have a such large population.
In China, there is an old saying means if your teacher had taught your, he/she should be respected as your parents, so the teachers do mean a lot for us in our life. There are so many students are afraid of their teacher and do not dear to correct the mistakes of teachers’. I, however, hold an opposite opinion that students should hand up and say the error with out hesitation. For one thing, correct the error can increase the relationship between the teacher and students. Teachers are not incredibly person, whereas they are just as the ordinary human as us, so they could have some mistakes. If we could give the correct answer, then the teacher will take an impression for you and you will get a great reputation in your class. For instance, in my 12 grade chemical class, I have found our teacher give a wrong answer for another student so I stand up and correct the error immediately. Then the teacher gave me a great honor and taught me more patiently. Since then, the teacher and I became great friends and we also often talked chemical questions after class. For another thing, if there is nobody could correct the mistake at that moment, the teacher might take this to test the attention about students of the class. My math teacher always makes some little mistakes when he was teaching, and if there is nobody said the correct answers, he would punish us. So the teachers are eager to listening the brave students to correct him, and students should not be naive to think teachers are wrong. If students cannot make a great cooperation with their teacher, they cannot gain the fully guide from their teacher. In conclusion, students should just give the teacher the correct answer without hesitation, if we do this, the errors will escape and truth will exist.
