Ⅰ.Analysis of teaching material
Reading A “Beijing opera” is the first part of Unit 6.It is the core of the unit .It plays a very important part in the teaching of this unit. By studying this text, Ss can improve their reading ability, learn more about the traditional Bejing opera. Meanwhile, the Ss can receive moral education. In other words, by my teaching , they may develop their intersts in the traditional chinese art form –Bejing opera.
2.Analysis of students
1.Students know a little about Beijing opera, but not very much. 2.Some students are not interested in Beijing Opera. 3.Students don’t often express themselves or communicate with others in English. 4. Some Ss are not active in the class, because they are afraid of making mistakes.
Knowledge aim 1.Help the students learn more knowledge about Beijing Opera. 2.hot words and useful expressions
