一、 教学地位与分析 本节是高三一轮复习人教版新课标高中英语必修 4(Unit 1 W

omen of achievement)。学生在高一已经学习过课文中的 杰出女性的事迹同时也系统学习了课文中的语言点和重点词汇,并掌握了课文的大意和单词的发音及其基本意思。高中英语 《课标》在高三要求是能在各种语境中熟练运用重点词汇和短语,能根据词缀猜出新单词的意义和词性有效提高阅读理解能 力,从而提高学生综合运用英语的能力。而词汇又是英语学习的基础,对于高三学生来说要全面学习一词多种含义和重点动 词的各种搭配是个难点,这对学生培养学生形成英语知识网是非常重要的。在教学中本课时是本单元复习的第一课时,内容 包括 vocabulary,word-formation,languagepoints,test 四个部分。在教学中通过合作探究引导学生复习本单元的重点词汇及其构 词法中的名词后缀,常考语言点的易错点和近义辨别进行分析和探索,使学生在实践中亲自体验知识网络的重要性并有效提 高学生学英语的兴趣。 二、教学目标 (一)知识与技能
1.学生通过查阅资料,教科书和合作学习–ation; -ment 两个名词后缀从而扩大词汇量 2.学生通过查阅资料,教科书和合作学习探究学会应用 argue, look,carry 相关短语

3.学生通过特定语境能猜出学会应用 observe ,support,deliver,refer to 在不同情境的意义,并了解 worth,worthy,worthwhile 的区别

4.培养学生归纳词汇知识体系、运用语言的能力.

(二)过程与方法 1. 通过复习观察词汇从中发现构词法中的名词后缀–ation; -ment,并能猜出所给单词的词性和意义. 2.通过参与不同情境的猜词义活动,培养和提高学生的阅读理解能力,指导学生学习和体会猜词义题的基本方法. 3.通过讨论、查资料、回顾高考题,培养学生建构知识体系的习惯 4.通过用所学词汇和短语描写身边的杰出女性培养学生运用所学知识解决具体问题,提高学生分析问题和解决问题的能力 (三)情感态度与价值观 1.提高对妇女社会角色的认识,了解成功女性的奋斗经历和勇于斗争的精神,培养学生(尤其是女生)的事业心和社会责任感, 建立正确的性别观和自信心。 2.培养学生学英语的兴趣 三、 教学重点、难点 重点:复习掌握 observe,argue,look 的相关短语的意义及用法能辨别 worth,worthy,worthwhile 难点:能猜出 support,deliver,refer to 在不同情境的不同意义以帮助阅读理解题中的猜词义形成解题方法 课堂时间有限,如何引导学生进行自主复习,提高综合运用能力

四、教学方法 1.演示法:相关的图表、原题等给再现学生看,便于学生对微观知识和背景知识的把握,并从旧知识中获得启迪,从而达到解 决问题的目的。2.任务驱动教学法:将所要学习的新知识隐含在一个或几个问题和小组活动之中,学生通过对所提的任务进行 分析、讨论,并在老师的指导和帮助下找出解决问题的方法 3.运用提高法:最后通过写作任务的完成而实现对所学知识的融会贯 通从而提高英语的综合运用能力。 五、教学过程

Summary(课堂小结)

This period we reviewed some key words and phrases of UNIT1,BOOK4. Now let’s have a short summary. First,we know about the new words ,meanwhile, we sum up two important noun suffix:-ation -ment. Furthermore,we also learn about the difference among worth,worthy and worthwhile . Besides, we reviewed four verbs which have different meanings in situations. The last but not the least,we learned some phrases by reading the charts.
