caught many people’s attention. The author, Amy Chua, who is a Chinese American professor of Yale, managed to cause te discussion on whether Chinese way or American way is better for children’s education, using her story about raising her two daughters in a traditional Chinese way. The book came out in the year 2010 and was introduced into China at the start of 2011. According to the latest news, Amy’s elder daughter has just got the offers from both Yale and Harvard. To some extent, it seems that the traditional Chinese way has received great achievement, but most Chinese moms doesn’t agree with what author did because its brutality. Despite all the disagreement and criticism, Amy Chua’s 17-year-old daughter has received offers from Harvard and Yale.
