Good morning, everyone, I am NO -----, I am glad to share my teachin g plan with you . And my topic today is ' Travel around the world '

taken from Unit 3 , Book 1 . My presentation consists of 5 parts ----the analysis of teaching materials , teaching methods, learning methods, teaching procedures and blackboard desigh . Part 1 Analysis part of the teaching of 3 materials

The main topic of this unit is traveling , and most Ss lik e traveling , but few chance for them , so the main topi c will arouse Ss' interest . To achieve the teaching aims above following teaching methods . 1.Task-based teaching approach, 2. communicative approach , Teaching aids. 1.a project 2.a tape recorder 3.multimedia 4.a blackboa

When I am dealing with the lesson , I will try my bes t to carry out the following theories: make Ss the real masters in class while the teacher himself acts as a director;combine the languade stucture with the langua ge function ; let Ss receive some moral education while they are learning the passage . Part 3 Analysis of the Learning methods I will apply 'SQRC' method , which stands for surve y , question, retell and communication . And there are 4 techniques of forming their good learni ng habits . 1 .Preview the lesson by surfing the net 2 .Read the text with some questions and try to find the answers 3.Summarize the content of the passage 4.Create some situation for them to have a further discussion about the topic . Part 4 Teaching Procedures

According to the teaching aims , I divide the teaching procedures into 7 steps .P146 Step1 Lead -in and warming up Brainstorming some questions: Do you like traveling ?wh y ?where have you been before ?How did you get there ? Ss discuss in pairs . purpose : the questions have sth to do with the topic , which will help Ss have a good start of learning the passag e . Step2 Pre-reading 1 Imaging and sharing : what does a river can do ? travel along a river ? 2 Talking and sharing :which river you would choose to travel along ? purpose : by talking and sharing , Ss can improve speaking ability and get closer to the topic as well . Step3 While reading 1. skimmming : read the passage quickly and answer t he question : what are Wangkun and Wangwei going to do ? 2 .scanning : a read the whole passage again and answer each quest ion on page 19 b.do some exercise purpose : enable Ss to find out the clue of this text and under stand the stucture of this passage . Step 4 After- reading discuss in pairs : Wangkun and Wangwei' similar and different attitude toward the trip , then fill in the cha rt Step5 Consolidation : retell the passage . the purpose of step 4 and 5 is to consolidate what Ss have learnt in the passage . Step6 HW 1. finish off the workbook exercise. 2.retell the passage in your own words . Part 5 Bb design Why to travel | Their dream - taking a bike trip
