1. 1.In the picture, the parents hold a bar over their heads, urging their child to jump over it while the child stares up at the bar in frustration and disgust(在沮丧
和 厌恶 ). In fact, it reflects a common phenomenon: many parents are setting too high expectations of their children. 2. Surely high expectations serve as充当 a necessary drive(驱动力) for children , but sometimes going too far is as bad as falling short(功亏一篑). When the goals are far beyond their reach, children’s interest and selfconfidence may suffer seriously , which can do great harm to their character-building(性格培养 ) .
3.So , it’s time for the parents to adjust their standards, and tell their child how proud they are of him for what he has achieved .
I have several bobbies, but my favorite one is reading . Reading has benefited me a lot. It has not only enriched my knowledge but also broadened my horizon . It has enabled me to know much more than what is in our textbooks as well as to think independently . Without doubt, it has also contributed to (有助于 ) my studies .
1. In the first place, it offers a sage where the youth can express their opinions and emotions freely, thus helping them relieve(减轻 ) the stress from study . Additionally(此外 ), with quantities of information in forms of texts(文本 ), videos, and pictures, teenagers have easy access to (容易获得 )the latest news, which is time-saving . 2. On the one hand, the youth may spend too much time updating their blogs, which will be harmful to their studies. Meanwhile, false information broadcast(播放 ) may have a negative influence on them .
3.Personally, micro-blogging is a good way of lowering(降低 ) stress . But what I want to stress is that teenagers should be instructed(教导 ) how to manage their micro-blog.
It was reported that in January,2013, Beijing was hit by severe smog weather which lasted several days. The air pollution there was believed to have reached dangerous levels, which not only brought great inconvenience to people’s daily life but also harmed their health . It seriously damaged the image of the capital city of China. After reading the news, I felt both shocked and sad. How was it that the once beautiful city became a hell (地狱 )? Personally , to solve the problem and restore(恢复 ) Beijing’s fame as an elegant(优美的 ) city, we need to control the number of automobiles (汽车 )on the road,
because pollutants (污染物 ) from cars are regarded as the main cause of the extreme weather . Besides, the government should encourage factories to use fuels(燃料 ) in greener ways to reduce pollution . Let’s take action right now!
Many animals are in danger
Many animals are in danger of dying out. As is clearly shown in the bar chart, the kinds of wild animals have decreased sharply in the past decades. With about 30,000 kinds of animals reduced on average each year, as a result, there were only 1.5 million left till 2010. There are several reasons accounting for this problem. Apart from the polluted environment and natural disasters, illegal killing is an important reason. Human beings are making attempts to hunt wild animals for fashion and a big profit, which can be seen vividly from the right picture. This has resulted in a sharp decrease in the number of animals.
In my opinion, it is high time for us to take quick action to protect them. A national public campaign (a series of planned activities ) should be launched (开展 ) to give animals a good living environment. In addition, the government should pass some firm laws to forbid abuse killing. Only in this way can we live in harmony with wild animals.
