Unit 3 Computers
教材分析 本单元围绕着“计算机”为话题来展开听、说、读、写的训练。通过介绍电脑的大小发 展,电脑的用途以及对电脑是否比人类聪明的疑问使学生对电脑应用有初步的了解, 并引发了学生对电脑发展方向的思考。激发他们的阅读兴趣以及科学探索精神,同时 在听说读写中引导学生掌握形容词比较级和最高级的相关用法。 教学对象分析 学生对于“电脑”比较熟悉,

有利于开展本单元的各项听说读写任务。 学生对于形容词的用法其实并不陌生,在小学已经接触过,只是没有进行专项的归纳性 学习。在本单元,教师可以系统地帮助学生温故而知新,引导学生在一定的语境中熟 练运用数词。 单元教学目标 1.认知目标 学习水平 学习内容 语音 Learn to give extra stress to the most important word in a sentence. 2. 能流利地朗读课文及与课文水平相当的短文, 语音、语调、句子 重音和停顿基本正确。 重点词汇 N.: order, monitor, speaker, main unit, keyboard, mouse,brain,speed,railway,company,price,total,inch, v.compare,type;control,depend,operate,sell adj. expensive, tiny, popular, phrases: work as, be unware of, be dependent on/depend on, in addition, grand total, look forward to reading 通过介绍电脑的大小发展,电脑的用途以及对电脑是否比人类聪明 的疑问使学生对电脑应用有初步的了解, 并引发了学生对电脑发 展方向的思考。 让学生听一段关于电脑命令的文章,要求学生对在电话里的几种零 件有年了解,并在听力中准确捕捉特定信息并归类。 让学生学会如何发现句子的重音以了解句意的不同意思以及让学生 学会如何用不同的提问方式来做调研,了解大家使用电脑的目 的。 写一篇有关显示器的邮件。 ●了解记忆词汇的不同方法,学会记词汇笔记。 ●学会利用网络资源了解更多有关比较级和最高级方面的知识。 学习水平的描述

2.能力发展目标: 1)能够在听、说、读、写等语言综合实践活动中运用本单元的重点词汇、句型与语法。
2)在学习中提高交流和传递信息的能力,在写作中句型使文章更连贯和流畅。 3)通过指导学生在模拟交际中运用所学的知识,培养学生探究学习、合作学习、自主学 习的能力。

四、单元教学重点 1.学生熟练掌握重点词汇 22 个,短语 6 个
2.指导学生利用所学句型正确表达思想、进行交际活动。 3.指导学生归纳一般将来时用法并在实践中熟练运用它们。

五、单元教学重点
1. 通过形式多样的课堂活动与任务,帮助学生完成阅读理解、听力理解等学习任务。 2. 引导学生积极主动地探究学习, 从教材以外的渠道去了解与本单元主题相关的文化背 景信息、资料等,并且与同学进行相互交流,顺利开展包括口头汇报、写作展示等拓 展活动,培养学生探究学习、自主学习、合作学习的能力。

六、教学策略
1.在教学中,教师应积极设情景引入,配合媒体、表情、动作、进行视听说演示,激发 学生兴趣。 2.教师应采用有利于学生学习的教学方法,善于引用学生通过阅读或观察、比较对比知 识进行归纳总结。增加学习内容的复现和巩固练习、及时反馈学习情况。 3.教师应该根据自己学生的具体情况对教材进行整合,精讲精练,调动学生的学习兴趣, 使他们积极参加参与课堂各种学习活动。在阅读的过程中,教师指导学生培养阅读策 略与技能及写作过程中的写作技巧训练。

七、媒体的选择与设计
1. 充分利用和发挥基本的教学媒体,如课本,教师的身体语言、板书的作用。 2. 适时、 合理地使用计算机多媒体或电子白板, 增大课堂的容量, 更好地辅助课堂教学。

一、定位: input-based,阅读理解为主。通过阅读关于电脑的科普文章,对电脑 的使用领域和功能有一定的了解并对其未来发展提出疑问。 二、教学目标: 1. 通过多种形式的阅读活动与任务,帮助学生理解课文。 2. 指导学生运用一定的阅读理解学习策略,培养一些阅读微技能, 如:寻读,找出关键信息等;扫读,获取文章大意;通过构词 法或上下文猜测生词大意;推断等。 三、教学重点:阅读微技能的培养,加强信息寻找能力。重点把握常 用到的单词和短语,并把它们运用到实际生活中。 四、教学难点:含形容词比较级或最高级句子的理解。常用单词和词 组。 教学环节设计: Step1.Pre-reading

Reading A (阅读课)

Watching Carton talk, and understand why it is funny. Ask students to look at the title, the introduction and the picture on page 33-34, lead them to guess the topic we are going to talk about. 3.Ask Ss to look at the photos ,the title and the sub-headings of the article on page 35. Then tick (√)the facts that the article probalbly talks about.(finish exercise B on page 34.) Vocabulary presentation: Get Ss to learn some new words by showing some pictures. Cocabulary exercise:Get Ss to finish exercise C1and C2 on page 36 to consolidate the new words. Step2. While- reading 1)First reading: Tell Ss to read the text quickly and finish exercise (双语 报 B1 版:走进课文题目). 2)Second reading: Read the text again and complete exercise D1 and D2 on page 37. 3)Chect the answers. Step3.Post-reading Discussion(group work): Get Ss to Discuss in groups: Do you depend on computers a lot in your daily life? Give examples. 2.Do you agree that computers will be able to do all our jobs in the future?Give reasons.(finish exercise D3 on page37) Step4.Learning lagnuage points: a.Deal with some useful phrases and expressions in the passage. 三、教学重点:听力技巧的培养。 四、教学难点:筛选信息,填写表格。 Teaching procedure A Filling in an order form 1. Pre-task preparation (1) Provide the general situation of the listening task. (2) Ask students to think about the following questions: ⅰ)What kinds of products is Mabel ordering? ⅱ) What information does the salesperson need? ⅲ) How does Mabel describe the products? (3) Give some tips on filling in an order form. (4) Explain some new words. 2. While-task procedure (1) Tell students that they are supposed to be the salesperson, listen to Mabel’s order and then complete the table. (2) show the words and pictures to help students understand the products and complete the table. (3) Play the tape twice or more(if necessary), while students fill in the order form. (4) Check the answer. (5) Deal with some useful expressions or difficult sentences. 1. Pre-task preparation Ask students to talk about a phone order according to their own imagination. ⅰ)What do you think is a phone like? ⅱ) What can a phnoe do? ⅲ) Can a phone have feelings? 2. While-task procedure (1) Show the pictures, students try to tell what these three robots can do. (2) The script tells the conversation, but students should try to select information according to the blanks on the pictures. (3) Play the tape twice or more(if necessary), while students complete the notes. (4) Check the answer. (5)Deal with some useful expressions or difficult sentences. Homework Learn the useful expressions and make their own sentences with them.

一、定位: practice -based,启发学生, 归纳语言知识,开展各层次、强化性 和综合性练习,多种技能结合训练, 以练为主。 二、教学目标: 1)回顾语言材料,发现形容词比较级和最高级的特点 2)学生学习新语言材料,归纳形容词比较级和最高级的规律及相关用 法并进行相关练习。 3)创设相关的环境使学生能够把自己的归纳结果运用在实际生活中, 更好地活用所学的形容词比较与最高级的语法知识。 三、教学重点:形容词的比较级和最高级的转换方式和具体用法。 四、教学难点:形容词的比较级和最高级的转换方式和具体用法。掌握 个别不规则变化形容词的比较级和最高级。 五、教学环节设计: 1. Revision Check the assignment the day before. Get some Ss to read aloud the sentences they made with the useful expressions in Listening. 2. Grammar learning (1) Give examples to tell Ss we have the comparative and superlative of adjectives and their differences. (2) Get the Ss to pick out some sentences with comparative and superlative of adjectives in the passages in Reading and Listening. Language (3) Get the Ss to pay attention to the form of comparative and superlative of (语法课) adjectives. Help them summarize the rule of changing adjectives to comparative and superlative form. 3. Practice (1) Complete the blanks at page 39-41. Check the answers in class. Explain some points if Ss make mistakes (2) Get the Ss to work in pairs and finish exercise in Book B. Revision Have some Ss sum up the use of comparative of adjectives and finish some exercises. 2. A.Speaking—Talk time (I) (1) Within the answers of the above exercises, find a wrong answer and say ‘I’m sorry ,but I don’t agree with you.’ Speaking (2) Ask Ss what they will say to the teacher if they happen to find some mistake in the teacher’s writing. Lead the Ss to summarize the way to tell their opinions. (3) Have Ss read the exercise in Speaking A Talk Time and finish the A1. (4) Have Ss read the conversation in A2 and try to make a new dialogue. (5) Present some dialogues in front of the class. 3. Speaking (Ⅱ) (1) explain the information and some useful expression patterns in the book. (2) use the inforamtion and expressions to make a new dialogue in pairs.
