When it comes to the competition between Ocean Park and Hong Kong Disneyland, it is hard to tell which is better. At first look, the world champion, Disneyland, should be better than the local favorite, but those who ask themselves whether it is better to visit Hong Kong Disneyland or Ocean Park may find a surprising answer. Ocean Park features first-class marine (海洋的)shows and exhibits. Disneyland has nothing to compete with these excellent shows. Ocean Park has a pair of excellent roller coasters (过山车). There are also a number of mid-range rides, which help to keep the family going all day. Disneyland, on the other hand, has only one rollercoaster and almost no mid-range rides, which means that anyone over the age of ten will be quickly bored. One thing that Disneyland is better than Ocean Park is food. The food at Ocean Park is limited to hotdogs, while the restaurants at Disneyland provide tourists with many different flavors. Ocean Park does not have any hotels, either, although it’s closer to the city center than Disneyland. Both Ocean Park and Disneyland will provide new rides and services. Ocean Park will add new rides and art shows. It is also planning to add hotels and new food choices. Disneyland is also adding rides and making itself a more attractive place, though it looks like it will struggle to keep up with the fast-growing Ocean Park. 64. We can infer from the first paragraph that ______. A. All Hong Kong’s theme parks are wonderful and very popular B. Hong Kong Disneyland is much better than Ocean Park

C. Ocean Park is worth visiting more than Hong Kong Disneyland D. Both Ocean Park and Hong Kong Disneyland are growing fast 65. This passage is mainly developed by _______. A. telling numbers B. giving examples C. telling a story D. comparing both 66. According to the author, Hong Kong Disneyland is better than Ocean Park for its ______. ① food ② roller coasters ③ exhibits ④ hotels A. ① and④ B. ② and③ C. ① and② D. ③ and④ 67. What is the author’s attitude towards Ocean Park? A. Negative B. Positive C. Uninterested D. Unclear D For centuries, the body’s blood has been linked closely with the emotions.People who show no human emotions or feelings, are said to be cold-blooded killer. For example, the police are searching for a cold-blooded killer. He seems to kill for no reason, and no emotion, as if taking someone’s life as nothing. Cold can affect other parts of the body. The expression ―get cold feet‖ has nothing to do with cold or your feet. expression means being afraid to do something you have decided to do. The For example, you agree to be president of an organization. then you learn that all the other officers But have resigned, and all the work of the organization will be your responsibility. You are likely to get cold feet about being president when you understand the situation. The expression ―give someone the cold shoulder‖ probably comes from the physical act of turning your back toward someone, instead of speaking to him face to face. You may give a cold shoulder to a friend who has not kept a promise he made to you.Or, to someone who has lied about you to others. A cold fish is not a fish.It is a person. But it is a person who is unfriendly, unemotional and shows no love or warmth.A cold fish does not offer much of himself to anyone.Someone who is a cold fish could be cold-hearted.Now a cold-hearted person is someone who has no sympathy. Several popular songs in recent years were about cold-hearted men or cold-hearted women who, without feelings, broke the hearts of their lovers. ―Out in the cold‖ means not getting something that everybody else got.A person might say that everybody but him got a pay raise---he was left out in the cold. And it is not a pleasant place to be. 68.There are _________ expressions related to cold that are mentioned in the passage. A.3 B.4 C.6 D.7 69.When you refuse to speak to a man and treat him in a distant way, you may express by ―_________‖.
