Our team leader
If you are not moving ahead, you are falling behind. Traditions can be a guide, but not necessarily s
uperior. Better and better ways can be found. Life is in constant change.
We are now living in a rapidly changing world. Leaders worldwide have to respond immediately to new signs of political situation. Nationwide, economic and political reforms witness daily progress in all walks of life. Changes in science and technology bring about new breakthroughs and new products. In our life, the changes always take place somehow somewhere.
These rapid changes influence us in different ways. Firstly, some changes have effects on our lifestyle and improved living conditions. Secondly, by means of modern machines people work efficiently, and enjoy more leisure hours. Thirdly, access to up to date information enables people to broaden their visions. In a word, changes make people become accustomed to the modern world.
Seeing these great changes, we should take a positive attitude. Rapid changes are challenges and opportunities to modern people, because changes color life and make the world progress day by day. We wish that the new changes would keep brilliant records in human history. Let’s face changes, accept changes and try to make the world change for better.
However, changes can
also bring us some bad influences like….
In the past, when my friends or relatives get together, we always chat with others. But today, when we have some meetings, we would rather play our own mobile phones rather than talk to the one near by. Less and less conversations take place, more and more texts replace them. Sometimes I feel embarrassed when I want to communicate with someone, because no one wants to talk with me. (by Zheng Zhouxuan)
Let’s have a look at Mingyan’s life changes

my loving home~~~
Next is Qiu’s view about changes in his life.
My life in the past was dull, almost full of class, homework and tests. Sometimes there might be basketball games or sports meetings, which were the best time for us to release our pressure. I was a little tired of that tough time. To be honest, I didn’t enjoy studying in the past. I was busy all the day, got up early and stayed up late every day.
Fortunately,I had made many friends. It seems that we are a family.I met my best friends during those days.We still keep in touch with each other even we are far away from each other.
I supposed the college life was like in the heaven—free, enjoyable and with little stress.(This is what our high school teachers always said to us.I didn’t have dormitory life before.
As a matter of fact,I still have to take a lot of courses.Especially in the second semester, the courses are somewhat tough. But the new life is full of fun.I met good classmates and roommates. And my spare time is more than what I had in high school.I am looking forward to the next four years.
As for Liu Nan, it looks like his ideal life and real life have some differences…
Ideality and reality
But there are also a lot of good things to enjoy…
Self-reliance Perseverance Endurance and more
All in all, life is full of changes, both good one and bad one. We can not predict them, but we should treat them as the saying goes—The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.—Alan Watts (Alan Watts (6 January
1915 – 16 November 1973) was a British philosopher, writer, and speaker, best known as an interpreter and popularizer of Eastern philosophy for a Western audience.)
