(to develop their skimming ability to get the general idea of a passage as quickly as possible). I’ll ask the students to look through the whole passage of each paragraph。 Step 3 Careful reading-----精读 20’ (to get the details of the passage and to understand the reading further.) 1.Decide if the sentences are ture or false。判断句子正误。 2.Answer the following questions。根据课文回答问题。 1). What success had Li Ling achieved before he retired?? 2). How did he feel when he retired? Why? 3). What did he do after he retired from the sport? 4). Why do Li Ning’s sports clothes sell well? 5). What has Li Ning learned about after all these years? 3.Listen to the passage, then try to fill in the blanks。听课文听力填空。 and summrize the main idea
Step 4 Post reading 讨论------6’ Ask the students to have a discussion.(to develop their creativity and thoughts) 1 .What kind of person do you think Li Ning is? 2 .What can you learn from him?
