It’s necessary for them to have some ways to ease stress and minds. 注意:①无须写标题,不得照抄英语提示语; ②除诗歌外,文体不限; ③文中不得透露个人姓名和学校名称; ④词数为 120 左右。 (一) Pressure is a common serious problem nowadays. Many students in our class worry about their exams. Although we have much pressure from our studies, we need a relaxation after heavy work to renew our energy. Furthermore, burying ourselves all day under piles of books is not the only way to study. I’m always under pressure, too. My parents expect me to go to a key university. One evening, I had a talk with my mother. I told her I was not lazy and I really felt tired. I needed time to relax. My mother agreed with me at last. So I think a conversation with parents or teachers or good friends is an essential way to solve the problem. Besides, we can listen to music after class or we can even cry or shout in the open in order to refresh ourselves. (w142)

(二) At present, more and more students are under great pressure when they study. It may have something to do with the education system. If they don’t know how to deal with it, their healthy will be affected physically and mentally. Below are my ways to reduce pressure. First, I listen to some soft music to relax myself every noon. Second, in my spare time, I take more exercise to reduce my stress and keep my body energetic. Besides, I join in different kinds of clubs and other activities. In this way, I can make many friends and have enough chances to communicate with others, then we can share our feelings with each other. Finally, I try my best to keep my mind optimistic, whenever I am in trouble, I can find proper ways to solve it. In my daily life, these ways are very important for me to reduce pressure. Only if we know how to deal with it will we study better and make our life wonderful. (三) We all know that now we students are all under stress because of the heavy school work, which will surely affect our health both physically and mentally. So we should try to take some measures to deal with it. I have some suggestions. First, I think we should take more exercise because regular and proper amount of exercise can reduce our stress. Second, we can take more activities such as music club and ball teams. Music can relieve our anxiety and make us relaxed. Team work can develop our friendship and make us refresh, which will, to some degree, contribute to our study. Finally, we can find as many as opportunities to communicate with others and learn to share our feelings with others, in which case we can broaden our mind and be cheerful. I think only by taking the above suggestions can we reduce our stress.

Stress in Modern Life
As everyone knows, stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is no way to avoid it. As the pace of modern life continues to increase, we are always feeling on the go(忙碌) from morning till night. And it is hard to slow down. It seems to us that everyone around us is aggressive(干劲很大的). Therefore, whatever one does, he feels under stress all the time. It is clear that stress has much to do with the life in a competitive society. Different people, however, think of stress quite differently. Some believe that stress is not the bad thing it is often supposed to be. They hold the opinion that a certain amount of stress is vital(至关重要的) to provide motivation(动力) and to give purpose to life. Others argue that stress contributes to one’s mental decline(衰落) and endangers his health. According to them, relaxation, the opposite of stress, is essential for a healthy mind and body. Personally, I’m in favor of the former view. I think it is impossible to avoid stress when one is entirely devoted to the career he pursues(从事). In my opinion, it is only when the stress gets out of control that it can lead to poor performance and ill health.
