1) Is forgiveness a universal necessity relationships? Give reasons from your experience. 2) Do you think interpersonal relationships have anything to do with one’s success in career and life? 2. Key words and expressions: count sth against sb; find it in oneself to do sth; like it or not; do sb wrong; root out sth; take hold/ alternative, impressive, universal, move? 教学过程(包括教学手段、方法、电教设备、教具、CAI 课件使用以及教学程序等) 1. Discuss questions on p.1 and then study the quotes about forgiveness on p.1; 2. Make introductory remarks and introduce relative information; 3. Ask students to read the passage globally and find the useful expressions on given Chinese versions; 4. Do text study: language points and difficult sentences; 5. Assignments 课外作业 1. How to divide the text into three parts? _

3. Writing skills employed by the author: exemplification, quotation, comparison and contrast;

Do part division and discover the main ideas; 4. Do Reading comprehension questions on p.9&10 and Cloze on p.25; 5. Discuss in groups “To err is human; to forgive, divine”?
