Module 9 Cartoon stories Unit 2 There are several fan clubs in China which have held birthday parties for Tintin. 课型:读写课 一、教案背景 1、面向学生:中学 2、学科:英语 3、课时:1 4、学生课前准备: 1)预习单词。 2)预习短文,了解什么是卡通故事。 二、教学课题 学习这个单元,能够用定语从句描写卡通作品,完成对同学所喜 爱的卡通类型和喜爱程度的调查。 能够展示卡通故事, 介绍卡通作品, 演示卡通故事。 三、教材分析 本模块以卡通人物为话题,介绍了几个著名的卡通形象,包括尼 莫、史瑞克、史努比、丁丁以及中国的孙悟空。这些形象为学生所熟 知、喜爱。借助这一话题开展听、说、读、写活动可以激发学生的学 习热情,有助于教学活动的设计。 四、学情分析 学生们是在前两个模块的基础上学习省略关系词的定语从句,应 该不会觉得很难,因为本单元的话题是学生熟知和喜爱的,所以可以 激发学生的学习热情,学习的积极性会很高. 五、学习目标 1、 Compare the differences between older cartoons and recent cartoons. 2、Master the restrictive attributive clause with who, which and that. 3、Write the cartoons you like and say why and the history about it. 六、学习重难点 能够掌握定语 that,which,who 引导的从句,以及引导词的省略。 课前朗读: (朗读与本课有关的单词) 学习过程 1、 导入新课:介绍什么是“卡通故事” http://wenku.baidu.com/view/ea82ec0290c69ec3d5bb7543.html 2、Show a picture about the cartoon 《Snoopy》and ask the students some questions about it.
