Teaching procedures: Step 1: Lead in Teacher begins the class like this：(2min) 1. There are many problems in families, especially problems between parents and their children. If you have problems with each other, who do you turn to for help? Teachers , friends, and grandparents? 2. How do you solve it? Quarrel with them; go out home, or some other ways? an email.
Give 3 minutes to students to talk about. Teacher sum up students opinion .then introduce another way to solve the problem. Namely, writing a email to you father or mother .Because when you are writing, you can express your inner ideals in a peaceful way. They can solve it peacefully according to your ideals or give you some other advice.

Body. This is the main part of letter. It expresses the writer’s ideas, opinions,
purposes and wishes. So when writing, pay attention to the following: a) Write simply, clearly, courteously, grammatically, and to the point. For example. I am writing to you to extend my thanks for your help. b) Paragraph correctly, confining each paragraph to one topic. You can use some paragraphs to express you. 3.2.3 .Complimentary close Complimentary close is merely a polite way of ending a letter. It is in keeping with the salutation. The most commonly used complimentary closes are yours. Yours faithfully. Truly yours. 3.2.4. Signature: Sign your name.
Step 2, writing the a letter for help.(10min) This part is the main work to do in this period. How to ask for help by letter. Three parts are needed. First .present you requirements（.提出请求） Such as: I wound if you could help me …..,I would like to seek help from you .and so on . Second: present the reason for the requirements.(说明原因或者请求帮助的情况) Such as: My mother had misunderstood me that I used up money to play computer games. She did not believe in me, I have told her that I make donations for the poor. I do not known how to explain it.
