2.Teaching Procedures
Step 1:lead-in: Teacher leads in the lesson by showing a video of sandstorm,to make students understand the information from visual materials. Step 2:Reading Task 1:Pre-reading Brainstorm:teacher ask students to find out some words to describe the image they have seen just now. Task2:Skimming 1:Students read the whole passage as soon as possible and find out all the factors that mentioned in this passage. Introduction Time Places Experience Category Measures 2.Students report their answers by groups. Task3:Scanning 1:Students read the passage carefully and fill in blanks that given by the teacher,to get more detail information about sandstorms. Para 1-2:A.What's the definition of sandstorms B. Where do the sandstorms mainly occur?

If we do need go out ,wearing masks is a wise choice. It's necessary for people to plant trees,only in this way can people prevent it coming nearer. 2:Students are invited to give their answers. Task4:Post-reading(Discussion). 1:To improve students’ awareness of protecting environment and find out some solution of these problems,teachers simply summarize the passage,and guide students to talk about how to stop sandstorms. 2.Students discuss their ideas with their partners and share their opinions with the whole class. 3.Then teacher shows her own suggestions to Students by PPT. Step 3:Homework Writing: write a passage to talk about how to stop sandstorms or how to protect our
